Florida Buddhist Monastery, TVI (Tayzawbatha Vihara, Inc.) is a private residential dwelling for the Saṅgha, located in the peaceful rural community of Geneva, Florida—just northeast of Orlando, serving the Seminole County area. It is legally registered and operated under Tayzawbatha Vihara, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit religious organization dedicated to preserving the timeless teachings of the Buddha.
The property serves as a quiet residence to support the private practice, meditation, and study of our resident bhikkhus (monks), who strictly follow the traditional monastic discipline of Theravāda Buddhism.
Please Note: The monastery is a private residential dwelling and is not open to the general public. We do not host public gatherings or events. Visits are strictly by prior appointment or invitation only.
Over the years, Tayzawbatha Vihara has supported resident monastic practice—including Sayalay (nuns) who dedicate their lives to the Dhamma. You can read more about past reflections on our ordination insights and time in Geneva.
